The event that we’ve been looking forward to for months finally arrived last week on Good Friday when we headed over to Newcastle Racecourse for Newcastle Elite Academy’s Raceday in aid of their student tour to the USA.
Our Managing Director, Chris Lowery, was in attendance for the day’s festivities, which included a full day of horse racing, a 3 course meal, live music, an auction, raffles & competitions throughout the day! All of which were provided by Justin Lockwood of Heart Radio North East fame.
It was also fantastic to see some other famous faces in attendance at the raceday, namely Newcastle Elite Academy founders Rob Elliot & Paul Dummet, as well as special guests Shola Ameobi and former cricketer Stephen Harmison!
A big congratulations to all of the winners & donators of the raffle & auction that took place as well (whoever won the NUFC training experience is very lucky!)
Finally, a big thank you to Newcastle Elite Academy for inviting NWR Hygiene Group and for putting on such a great event! The money raised from this event has all been towards their student athlete trip to the USA & Newcastle Elite Academy USA so we hope we’ve all contributed enough.
