NWR Hygiene Group makes the switch to electric vehicles

30th June 2023·Company News

NWR Hygiene Group is making the shift towards a greener future as we transition towards a full fleet of electric vehicles.

NWR moves to electric vehicles

We are excited to announce that, as part of our commitment to a greener, more sustainable future, our team has begun to make the switch to electric vehicles (EVs). Managing Director Chris Lowery and two of our Area Sales Managers are now equipped with EVs, with the remaining Area Sales Managers set to make the switch from hybrid to electric when their company car is due for renewal. So, let’s take a closer look at what this exciting switch means for NWR Hygiene Group in the wider context of our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

A greener way forward

Making the switch to electric vehicles has been a tremendously exciting transition for NWR Hygiene Group for a number of reasons. First and foremost, we’re thrilled to embrace EV technology as part of our commitment to CSR as we strive to embrace a hopeful shift towards a greener and more sustainable future.

So, how are EVs providing a greener way forward? Well, put simply, EVs help to combat climate change and air pollution by contributing to a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. Due to their reduced dependency on fossil fuels, embracing EV technology will better enable our society to move towards a more energy-secure future by embracing renewable energy sources.

Here at NWR Hygiene Group, we are incredibly proud to be a part of the burgeoning collective of businesses and organisations who are making the switch to electric vehicles. The more businesses that embrace EVs, the more stable, sustainable and resilient our nationwide – and global – energy infrastructure will become, creating new job opportunities and promoting technological innovation.
